Margaret Miller Cooper (1874-1965) was an active member of the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, the Connecticut Academy, and the Palm Beach League of Artists. For many years she was a regular exhibitor at the shows of these societies, and is a former winner of the award for best picture by a Connecticut artist at the New Haven Paint and Clay Club. She has also exhibited at the National Academy of Design, the Corcoran Gallery, and the Art Institute of Chicago. She had a one-man show at the Milch Gallery in New York City. Cooper studied at the Art Student's League.
